The form is grounded in everyday use,
with a rounded volume and side handle forming a stable grip,
creating a natural connection between hand and vessel.
Through use,
weight, temperature, and tactility gradually emerge,
establishing a rhythm one can continuously enter.
—
The glaze flows and accumulates under high temperature,
where deep blue and gray-white merge,
forming a layered structure like the meeting of night sky and landscape.
Fine pores and mineral crystallizations are scattered across the surface,
appearing like stars,
holding the image between depth and motion.
—
During firing,
the flame pushes and shifts the glaze,
leaving behind unpredictable traces.
Flow, sedimentation, and stillness converge here,
preserving time upon the surface,
forming a visual state where landscape and galaxy overlap.
—
When a hot drink enters the vessel,
light and temperature begin to act,
and the tonal depth of the surface shifts accordingly.
Aroma and tactility accumulate through use,
allowing the piece to gradually develop its own traces of living.
—
Galaxy Landscape Mug
transforms cosmos and terrain into a form held in daily life,
unfolding slowly within the hand.
